ALL ABOUT ORGANIC WINE

Organic wine production is strongly framed by European regulations. These rules are common to all European Union members and are supplemented by national provisions.

An organic winemaker cultivates his vines without herbicide, systemic pesticide or chemical fertilizer. He fertilizes it with organic compost or green manure. The protection of the vineyard is provided by natural inputs such as cooper, sulfur and even herbal teas. Above all, the winegrower seeks to give back to his vines maximum autonomy thanks to a living soil, that will confer the wine its character and favor the expression of the terroir.

Strict and systematic checks of organic viticulture
  • Grape and wine certification by a certification body approved by the public authorities for its skills, independence and impartiality. All operators in the organic sector are controlled at least once a year.
  • Checks in the vineyard and the cellar ensuring especially a perfect traceability.
  • Samples collection and analyse on grapes and wine
A committed approach to guarantee:
  • Quality: Organic wines are regularly awarded in competitions such as Millesime Bio, Concours Général de Paris, Challenge International du Vin, Mundus Vini…
  • Character: The winegrower fosters the expression of the terroirs because the grapes fully benefits of the various nutrients in the soil. He fights with passion for a unique and representative taste of his plot.
  • Diversity: Reds, whites, rosés, sweet, Crémants… Organic wine exists in all colors and for all budgets.
